Grim Tales is a collection of seven short stories by the English writer and poet Edith Nesbit (1858–1924), first published in 1893. Five of the stories had already been published in Longman’s Magazine, Temple Bar, the Argosy, Home ChimesBritish magazine published from 1884 until 1894, precursor to popular fiction magazines., and the Illustrated London News.[1]
Stories are shown in the order in which they appear in the book, which is not necessarily the order in which they first appeared in print.
