Several different decorations can be applied to individual paragraphs by adding additional CSS classes to the paragraph block, as shown in this paragraph using the “drop-cap” class.
Use of the “indent” class, as the name suggests, results in the paragraph being indented:
English Heritage, in its survey of the building before its redevelopment, described it as “somewhat austere” but with a “simple dignity”, enhanced by the economical use of Portland stone”.
Use of the “vertical” class prefixes the paragraph with a vertical line:
English Heritage, in its survey of the building before its redevelopment, described it as “somewhat austere” but with a “simple dignity”, enhanced by the economical use of Portland stone”.
And of course the classes can be used in combination:
English Heritage, in its survey of the building before its redevelopment, described it as “somewhat austere” but with a “simple dignity”, enhanced by the economical use of Portland stone”.
Lists
To indent a list, you can add the “indent” class to each of the entries in that list, or only some of them to give a hierarchical appearance:
- Entry 1
- Entry 2
- Entry 3
- Entry 4
