The Rudge is a cyclecarSmall, inexpensive automobile that filled the gap in the market between the motorcycle and the car. produced by the Coventry-based bicycle manufacturer Rudge-Whitworth for just one year, from 1912 until 1913.[1][2]

The car was powered by an air-cooled 750 cc single-cylinder engine fitted with a Senspray carburettor. It was fitted with the same Rudge multi-speed transmission as used in the company’s motorcycles, with belt final drive.[1][2] It was priced at 135 guineas, equivalent to about £17,500 as at 2025.[2][a]Calculated using the retail price index.[3]
