Thornhill is a villageSmall rural collection of buildings with a church. and civil parishSmallest administrative unit in England. in the district of High Peak, in Derbyshire, England,[1] just south of the Ladybower Reservoir. It was incorporated as a civil parish in December 1866,[2] and is now jointly administered locally with its neighbouring civil parish of Bamford, under the auspices of the Bamford with Thornhill Parish Council.[1]
As at the 2021 Census, the population of Thornhill is 147, occupying an area of 24.63 hectares (60.86 acres), giving a population density of 5.97 per hectare.[3]
