The Borough of Halton in North West England is one of the four unitary authorities comprising the ceremonial county of Cheshire, and a member of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.[1]

The borough consists of the towns of Runcorn and Widnes and the civil parishesSmallest administrative unit in England. of Daresbury, Hale, Halebank, Moore, Preston Brook, and Sandymoor.[2]

Halton contains 2 of the 142 Grade I listed buildings in Cheshire. Grade I structures are those considered to be “buildings of exceptional interest”.[3]
